Privacy Policy

The short version

Reelmint is designed to process your screen recordings and edits on your device. We do not sell your personal information, use your recordings for advertising, or track you across other companies’ apps and websites.

Information Reelmint handles

Recordings, projects, and exports

Reelmint accesses only recordings you choose to import. Your recording, editable project, generated copy, preview, and draft files are processed and stored locally in Reelmint’s app storage. Finished videos and screenshots are added to Photos only when you request an export.

Subscription information

Purchases and billing are processed by Apple. Reelmint uses RevenueCat to validate access to Pro features and understand subscription performance. RevenueCat may receive purchase history, subscription status, product identifiers, and an anonymous app user identifier. Reelmint does not send RevenueCat your screen recordings, projects, name, or email address.

Support requests

If you email us, we receive the information you choose to include, such as your email address, message, and optional troubleshooting details. We use it only to respond and resolve your request.

How information is used

• To create, edit, save, and export your Reelmint projects.
• To confirm subscription status and unlock Pro features.
• To prevent purchase fraud and restore prior purchases.
• To answer support messages and troubleshoot reported issues.

Reelmint does not use third-party advertising SDKs and does not sell or rent personal information.

Third-party services

Apple processes App Store downloads, payments, subscriptions, and refunds under its own privacy terms. RevenueCat processes subscription information on our behalf to provide entitlement validation and subscription analytics. These providers maintain their own privacy and security practices.

Retention and deletion

Drafts and project files remain on your device until you delete the draft or remove the app. Exported media remains in Photos until you delete it there. Apple and RevenueCat may retain transaction records as required to provide subscriptions, prevent fraud, and meet legal or accounting obligations.

You can ask us to delete a support conversation by emailing support@reelmint.app. Because Reelmint does not require an account and local projects are not uploaded to us, we cannot access or remotely delete your on-device projects.

Your choices

You choose which recording to import, when to save or export, and whether to contact support. You can manage or cancel your subscription from Apple’s subscription settings. You can remove local Reelmint data by deleting drafts or uninstalling the app.

Children’s privacy

Reelmint is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes and contact
